At Climate Action Week Sydney 2024 (CAW.SYD)—the first event of its kind—Moananui took to the stage to raise the visibility of New Zealand's innovative approach to blue economy development. Invited by Ocean Impact Organisation (OIO) as a keynote speaker at their "Oceans of Potential: Feeding 10 Billion" event, Moananui presented our pledge-led approach for sustainable ocean use, emphasising our focus on intergenerational well-being and commitment to being good ancestors.

Engaging actively with a diverse audience of community leaders, investors, and businesses at CAW.SYD, Moananui highlighted New Zealand’s model for blue economy development while also raising awareness about the ocean's potential as a solution to climate challenges. By sharing our experiences and strategies, we sought to inspire others to adopt similar approaches that balance economic growth with environmental stewardship.
